Plain semolina pancakes šŸ„žšŸÆ

Updated: Oct 9, 2024

These pancakes come together quickly and make you full pretty fast!

Ingredients:

-539g of fine semolina (sifted)

-670g of warm milk

-125g of vegetable oil

-2 large eggs (107g) at room temperature

-8g vanilla bean paste

-16g of baking powder

Steps:

  1. In a bowl, mix the semolina and baking powder with a fork until combined.

  2. In another bowl, add the milk, vanilla, eggs and vegetable oil. Whisk until combined.

  3. Slowly add the flour & baking powder mix and whisk until combined (don’t over mix).

  4. Add a non stick pan to a stove and turn on the heat on medium.

  5. Once it heats up, add one cup of the batter to the pan. When many bubbles form and the edges are golden, flip the pancake and let it cook for 40 seconds before removing from the pan and add it to a plate.

  6. Repeat step 5 with the rest of the batter. I was able to make 5 large pancakes with a small one.

  7. Enjoy!! šŸ„žā¤ļø

I recommend enjoying them with honey or maple syrup, fruits and protein (ex: scrambled eggs or tofu, sausage, beans, greek yogurt etc…)

Note(s):

-Ā You should keep extra pancakes in the fridge for up to 5 days. You can reheat them in the oven or in the microwave but keep in mind that their texture will change.
